The transverse profile is designed to connect the parallel mounted guide profiles and create cells 600x600 mm for laying the corresponding Armstrong plates. Also, the transverse profile can be installed not on the main guides for suspended ceilings, but on the same transverse profile, but with a length of 1200 mm.

For the Armstrong installation, the 0.6 m long transverse profile is made of galvanized low carbon steel sheet. The zinc layer is the main anti-corrosion protection and is applied with a galvanic method that guarantees high adhesion of the coating to the base metal. In case of mechanical damage to the zinc coating, the galvanic steel-zinc couple forms a strong oxide film, which also reliably protects the steel core from the corrosive effects of the atmosphere.
In addition, the rockwool ceiling profile is powder coated in standard colors: white and black, painted in desired colors. Painting provides additional protection to the metal element and improves its decorative properties.

In cross section, 0.6 m metal profile has an inverted letter "T". A vertical bar increases the stiffness of the member in the longitudinal direction, and the horizontal bars act as a support for the Armstrong ceiling slabs.

The design of all profiles is self-sufficient for fastening among themselves and does not require auxiliary fixing materials.
